Paul Pogba 'phones new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri' to push through move

Paul Pogba has reportedly phoned Muarizio Sarri, asking the new Juventus boss to sign him from Manchester United.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from United, and recently said he would be open to joining another club as he felt he was ready for a new challenge.

United expect the midfielder to be at the club next season and have no interest in selling Pogba, but a report in Italy claims the midfielder is trying to engineer a move himself.

Tuttosport say a 'desperate' Pogba rang Sarri to encourage him to re-sign Pogba for Juve.

However, despite United's desire to keep their record signing, another report in the  Daily Star  claims manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Pogba gone and has told club chiefs to sell the unsettled star to the highest bidder.

The report adds that the United manager is desperate to sell the World Cup winner to raise funds for new signings after being told he has just £100m to spend before the start of next season.

Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku would reportedly rather move to Spain than Italy this summer but will settle for a move to Inter Milan because it is the best option available to him.

Lukaku has been strongly linked with a move to the San Siro, and  AS claim there are no Spanish teams interested in Lukaku and that his move to Inter will be completed in the next few weeks.
