Here are your Manchester United evening headlines for Wednesday, November 3.
Pogba hint offered by Solskjaer
Given his red card against Liverpool left Paul Pogba suspended for the Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and the upcoming Manchester derby, it was no shock to see the Frenchman get a chance on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Pogba lined up as one of the midfielders in the 5-3-2 setup that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer utilised to great effect against Spurs, but he was unable to leave his mark on the game.
The former Juventus man put in a laboured display and lost the ball in costly areas for United in a lacklustre first period. When he was hooked with 20 minutes remaining, it was no great surprise.
Steven Railston looked at what this performance may mean for the 28-year-old's future and you can read the story in full HERE.
Bailly reaction to Maguire error examined
United were carved apart for Atalanta's second goal on Tuesday, with Duvan Zapata easily stealing in behind the defence and finishing to put the home side 2-1 up.
Bailly was beaten too easily by the Colombian's movement, before Maguire - who had played Zapata onside by sitting too deep - was ponderous in closing down the Atalanta man when he was closing in on goal.
Samuel Luckhurst noted that the former made his unhappiness with the England international clear after the lacklustre defending.
"The ball was in play and if tactical time-outs existed Eric Bailly would have called one. He spread his arms out in disbelief at Maguire’s refusal to engage Zapata, the Manchester United captain clearly still spooked by the Colombian outpacing him earlier."

Van de Beek role noted in Ronaldo equaliser
Although Cristiano Ronaldo again snatched the headlines with another brace and another last-gasp goal for United, a number of players came off the bench on Tuesday to have a positive impact on the game.
Donny van de Beek was one, as the Dutchman was given a rare outing with United on the hunt for a second equaliser.
Eventually, they grabbed it and Solskjaer was quick to pay tribute to the midfielder's positive play as a contributory factor in Ronaldo's eventual emphatic finish.
"Donny provided the run for the last goal," said the manager. "He keeps working and he's got qualities in there to unlock close defences and he almost scored as well. I thought all of them who came on did well."
