Paul Pogba Manchester United transfer update as agent Mino Raiola says he's 'working in the shadows'

Super agent Mino Raiola says he's "working in the shadows" as he refused to discuss the future of Paul Pogba.

The Manchester United midfielder has been heavily linked with a summer exit, having struggled to produce his best on a consistent basis at Old Trafford.

A return to Juventus has been mooted, with the Frenchman making his name in Turin.

Raiola was present at a meeting of the Lega Serie A on Thursday afternoon and as he left he was quizzed about a potential return to Italy for his client.

The agent responded: "Pogba must be left alone.

"When I speak people get nervous and don't sleep at night, so I won't speak anymore.

"I will do what I need to do but not in front of you, in the shadows as I always have."

Raiola caused a stir in December when he said that Pogba was unhappy at United and needed to move.

He declared: "He (Pogba) has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution for all parties is a transfer in the next (summer) window."
