Paul Pogba manages in charity match in France after missing Man Utd win over Burnley

Paul Pogba showed off his managerial ability as he took charge in a charity match in France.

The Manchester United midfielder missed his side's win at Burnley with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisting it was a precaution.

He is likely to return at Arsenal on New Year's Day but used the break to return to France for a special friendly match.

Pogba's brothers Mathias and Florentin were in action, as Pogba's All-Stars faced off against a Guinea XI.

Florentin previously captained Guinea, with the match held at the home of Tours FC, where former Crewe striker Mathias now plies his trade.

The event was one of several charity fundraisers for the '48 hours for Guinea' campaign.

Pogba's mother, Yeo Moriba, is also an ambassador for women's football in the Guinea Football Federation.

Pogba uploaded footage from the match onto social media as he was seen offering instructions to his players from the sideline.

Speaking on the midfielder's absence at Burnley, Solskjaer said: "He's been out for a long while and he didn't feel right.

"When you've been out for such a while it's always going to take time until you're 100%.

"He wasn't ready because he's not really done too many games and he's had two in a few days and he just needed another day's recovery."

Pogba's future remains the source of much speculation after missing a large chunk of the season through injury.

Real Madrid remain interested in signing Pogba, with his agent Mino Raiola recently suggesting his future could lie away from Old Trafford.

Manchester United boosted their top four chances with a win at Burnley and will now be eyeing success on the road again at Arsenal.
