Paul Pogba leaves Man United fans stunned after incredible France goal at Euro 2020

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba took a lot of the spotlight in one of the craziest nights of tournament football in recent memory.

France went into their game in the last 16 against Switzerland as the heavy favourites but fell behind thanks to a first-half header from Benfica striker Haris Seferovic. Les Bleus were completely out of rhythm in a 3-4-3 formation and Pogba along with the rest of the team struggled.

In the second half they switched to their more favoured 4-2-3-1 system and Pogba came alive, although Switzerland were awarded a penalty. However, Hugo Lloris saved it and then Karim Benzema scored twice in the preceding four minutes to turn the tie on it's head.

Then came Pogba's moment of brilliance as he picked up a loose ball from 30 yards out, put it out of his feet and curled an absolute stunner into the top corner to give France a 3-1 lead.

Fans from all over went berserk on social media, with United fans donning their midfielder as the player of the tournament.

What did you make of Pogba's goal? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

France were hauled back to 3-3 and forced into extra-time and eventually a penalty shoot-out against the Swiss, which they lost 5-4.

Pogba went first for France and scored with a stunning penalty into the top corner before Kylian Mbappe missed the fifth and final penalty as the favourites crashed out of the tournament.
