Paul Pogba has reaffirmed his happiness at Manchester United following their comeback win over Atalanta in the Champions League.
The Frenchman didn't feature in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting line-up but was introduced shortly after the hour mark replacing Scott McTominay as Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo turned the game on its head with the Portuguese stalwart nodding home the winner, nine minutes from time.
Atalanta topped the group going into the game and went in at the break two up, much to the surprise of those at Old Trafford who made their feelings heard as the referee blew for half-time.
Pogba's contract is set to expire in the summer and whilst contract talks are ongoing, he is yet to commit his future to the club.
Real Madrid and former club Juventus are circling as the 28-year-old's time at Old Trafford could be edging into its final months.
However, speaking after the dramatic comeback speaking to Sky Italia, via Football Italia, he said: “I am always smiling, as I enjoy playing here.
“I am someone who often smiles, so that means I generally have fun.”
Pogba made a blistering start to the season but a dip in form from the squad has seen them pick just a point out of a possible nine in the Premier League.
He was introduced with the score at 1-2 in United's second game back from the international break, where Pogba won the UEFA Nations League with Didier Deschamps' side.
Pogba played throughout in both matches as they beat Belgium in the semi-final before coming from behind to see off Spain to become just the second winner of the tournament.
Wednesday night's win was important in more ways than one as it saw them leapfrog Gian Piero Gasperini's side into top spot in Group F but saw some much-needed momentum injected into the side ahead of a difficult run of fixtures including the visit of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Sunday.
