Manchester United star Paul Pogba has handed a boost to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after posting a video suggesting he is close to returning to action.
The French midfielder has been sidelined by both a cracked toe and an ankle injury and hasn't featured for the Red Devils since the 1-1 draw with Arsenal last month.
United have struggled for form recently and have hit been a number of injuries, with Solskjaer under pressure after a run of five wins in their last 23 games.
But Pogba could hand the Norwegian a timely boost after the 26-year-old uploaded a video to his official Instagram account showing his recovery from injury whilst in Dubai.
The World Cup winner can be seen exercising with his leg in a protective cast and revealed he is "almost there", suggesting he is nearing a return to training.
"Almost there... show off or motivation, you choose. Same result at the end anyway #enjoyworking," it read.
Man Utd welcome rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford after the international break on October 20, with the Reds in superb form after 17 straight wins in the Premier League.
That game may come too quickly for Pogba to make his comeback from injury, but news of the World Cup winner's return will no doubt bring relief to exasperated United fans.
