Paul Pogba injury: Man Utd star out until December, confirms Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba is likely to be out until December.

Pogba has not played for United since the 1-1 draw against Arsenal on 30 September, during which he aggravated an ankle injury he had been carrying.

Following United's 3-1 win against Norwich at Carrow Road on Sunday, Solskjaer offered a downbeat assessment of Pogba's injury problems, suggesting that the World Cup winner needs plenty of time to recover.

"I don't think we'll see Paul before December," Solskjaer said. "He'll be out for a while.

"He needs time to fully recover. I don't think he'll be back, maybe for Sheffield United after the international break, but probably it will be December before we can see him.

"I'm not a doctor but there is an injury there that needs healing. Yes, it's his ankle."

United's statement on their website suggested that the Premier League trip to Sheffield United on 24 November is a possible return date, though December is more likely.
