Paul Pogba given potential Manchester United exit route as Juventus chief hints at transfer swoop

Juventus transfer chief Fabio Paratici has refused to rule out a move for Paul Pogba in next summer.

The midfielder left Turin to join Manchester United in 2016 for what was then a world record €105million fee.

Pogba has struggled to settle on his return to England though, and was left on the bench for Wednesday's Champions League loss to Istanbul Basaksehir.

The World Cup winner has been linked with a move back to Juve and when questioned on it the Serie A giants' sporting director didn't rule anything out.

Fabio Paratici said on Sky Italia: "When it comes to Pogba, right now he is a Manchester United player and it's far too early to think about future transfer targets.

"We all care for Pogba here, he's one of many ex-players who gave Juve so much. He's a great player, for sure, but it’s too early to talk about future objectives.

“We are concentrated on constructing this team for this season, that is where our focus lies.”

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo knows Pogba well, having played alongside him in Turin.
