Paul Pogba filmed in altercation with Manchester United supporters after Cardiff defeat

Paul Pogba was the target of abuse from some Manchester United supporters following the final day defeat to Cardiff on Sunday afternoon.

French midfielder Pogba played the entire 90 minutes for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as they were defeated 2-0 by Cardiff at Old Trafford on the final day of the season.

After the full-time whistle Pogba joined the rest of his United teammates as they embarked on a lap of honour around the pitch and to thank fans for their continued support all season.

As the 'thank you lap' came to an end Pogba stood in front of the Stretford End with the rest of the first-team squad, where he was targeted for abuse.

Clips on social media showed a small section of supporters specifically criticising the 26-year-old and indicating that they no longer wanted him at the club.

Pogba stood topless looking back at the frustrated supporters and appeared to gesture an apology to the stand before making his way down the tunnel.

Solskjaer's side have finished the season sixth in the Premier League and know that they will now be competing in the Europa League next season.
