Paul Pogba hint on Man United future dropped, Arsenal to sign target - European rumours

The transfer window is hotting up with around three weeks remaining for Premier League clubs to get their deals done.

Top-flight clubs are scouring the continent for the best deals as they look to strengthen ahead of the new season, which kicks off on August 9th.

It’s one of the busiest times of year for managers and recruitment bosses alike as bids begin to bounce back and forth, as deals begin to get done at a rapid rate.

We’ve already seen plenty of deals cross the line in the Premier League, but what can we expect next?

The latest transfer rumours should give us some idea, and we’ll begin the latest round-up with Paul Pogba.

'The end of Pogba’s story is not written'

That was the enigmatic message from Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola.

Raiola was in Turin on Wednesday with star defender Matthijs de Ligt, who will join Juventus ahead of next season.

And the agent spoke out amid speculation over the future of Paul Pogba.

Raiola said: "There's nothing yet, stay in Manchester, I live my life day by day, we'll see what happens, the end of this story is not written, we're here today, we do not know tomorrow."

Trippier leaves for Madrid

Kieran Trippier has headed to Atletico Madrid and is set to become the first English footballer at the club since a player named Drinkwater - his first name hasn’t been found - who played for the Spanish capital club in the 1920s.

Trippier has joined for a fee of £25m to end his four-year stay at Tottenham.

Newcastle close in on Joelinton

Newcastle are set to follow up the appointment of Steve Bruce with the signing of Joelinton.

The Brazilian striker is set to arrive at St James’ Park on a £36 million deal from Hoffenheim, according to the Mirror.

The 22-year-old is set to become Steve Bruce’s first signing.

Ceballos set for Arsenal loan

Arsenal are set to sign Spain U-21 European Championship star Dani Ceballos on loan.

According to Marca, the Gunners are waiting on Real Madrid’s final decision over whether the midfielder can leave this summer.

But reports from Sky Sports claim the Spaniard has chosen Arsenal over rivals Tottenham.
