Paul Pogba contradicts Mino Raiola's claims about him being 'unhappy' at Man Utd

Paul Pogba has contradicted his agent Mino Raiola's claims that he is unhappy at Manchester United.

The Red Devils midfielder was linked with a shock move away from United earlier in the season after his agent Raiola announced Pogba is unhappy at the club.

Raiola made the announcement on the eve of United crashing out of the Champions League at the hands of RB Leipzig, saying his client could leave the club as soon as January.

The superagent even claimed that Juventus would be the World Cup winner's most likely destination.

January came and went and Pogba remained at United, and since then the 27-year-old has enjoyed arguably his best season in a Manchester United shirt.

The Red Devils are second in the Premier League table and favourites to win the Europa League this season.

It now seems that Pogba is definitely going to remain a Manchester United player over the summer and that he will be in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad come next season.

Pogba was recently asked whether he is happy at United and his response was defiant.

Pogba told Sky Sports: "I'm happy! Of course, I'm happy. I'm happy.

"We're there, we're close [to winning trophies]. We're still in competition for the Europa League, we still have something to play for in the Premier League until City have the trophy in their hands.

"We have to keep working. We have to keep on playing, that's the way it is. We still have a chance to win something this year, so why not?"
