Paul Pogba 'calm' over Real Madrid transfer as Manchester United star waits on move

Paul Pogba is ‘calmly waiting’ on his transfer to Real Madrid because he believes it will go through, according to a report.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Spain all summer and has spoken about his dream of playing for Zinedine Zidane.

His agent, Mino Raiola, has also commented on it being time for Pogba to go and Manchester United not treating his client properly.

And now L’Equipe say that Pogba is calm in the knowledge that the transfer will happen before the end of the window.

The midfielder is currently in Singapore with the United team for pre-season.

Last week, Raiola was heavily critical of United for their treatment of Pogba and said: "The player Pogba has done nothing wrong, he is being respectful and professional in every way.

"The club knows his feeling for a long time. Its a shame that other people only like to criticise without the right information and I’m also sorry that the club doesn’t take any position against this.

"Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties."

Pogba isn't the only Manchester United player who could be on their way out.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is also looking to leave with a move to Inter MIlan on the cards.

Inter boss Antonio Conte has spoken of his frustration that Lukaku hasn't made the switch to Milan yet as he looks to complete his squad for the new season.

He said: “I think frustration is a big word. Lukaku is United's player, this is the reality.

“I like this player, but also in the past, when I was Chelsea's coach, and I tried to bring him in Chelsea. But today Lukaku is a player of United and this the reality and the truth

“I think that in this moment we are talking about a player of another club and for this reason it's right not to talk about Lukaku, because he's a player of United.

“I consider this player important to us to have a great improvement, but at the same time there is a transfer market. We know our situation at the moment and we will see what happens.”

United and Inter face each other in Singapore on Saturday in the International Champions Cup, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Lukaku will not feature in the game.
