Paul Pogba and Matthijs De Ligt agent Mino Raiola has FA transfer ban lifted

Agent Mino Raiola has had his transfer ban lifted by the Football Association, leaving him free to work on deals involving Premier League clubs and players once again.

The Italian super agent represents United midfielder Paul Pogba, as well as reported transfer target Matthijs de Ligt, and is one of the best known agents in the game.

He was banned by the Italian Football Federation and at the start of May Fifa extended the sanctions to have "worldwide effect", preventing him from doing deals until August 9, the day after the Premier League transfer window closes.

But Raiola had acted angrily to the ban, for which there were no reasons given. FIFA annulled that ban earlier this week, but at that point Raiola remained disqualified from being a registered intermediary in England pending a standard appeal process.

That has now been completed and the disqualification has also been lifted in this country.

Raiola posted a picture of a document on Twitter that shows the 'Order of Procedure' from the chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, with Raiola adding the message: "Suspension annuled. Justice!"

In the document included in the post, the second page details the decision of the committee.

It reads: "Following the decision passed by the Federal Appeal Court of FIGC (Corte Federale d'Appello) on 13 June 2019, the worldwide extension imposed against the intermediaries Carmine Raiola and Vincenzo Raiola is here annulled with immediate affect."

Pogba has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Real Madrid and Juventus both reportedly interested in the World Cup winner. Raiola had previously insisted that his ban would have no impact on any of his clients.
