Angry Adrien Rabiot's mother clashed with some of his France team-mates' family members after Monday night's Euro 2020 exit.
RMC Sport have revealed Rabiot's mother, Veronique, argued with members of Paul Pogba's family in the stands in Bucharest.
It's claimed the argument stemmed from when Manchester United midfielder Pogba lost the ball in midfield in the build-up to Switzerland's dramatic equaliser in added time as they made it 3-3.
That then led to extra time followed by Kylian Mbappe's missed spot-kick in the resulting penalty shootout and France's shock exit at the round of 16 stage.
Veronique Rabiot is said to have taken aim at Mbappe's parents and even turned her ire on the press box for 'sucking up' to the 22-year-old Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
L'Equipe also report she said: "It is embarrassing how he struck that, for a player of his level. He hit it too lightly. I hope you are going to scold him."
Her full-time outburst is said to have lasted around 20 minutes after full-time.
The response came after Pogba's family berating Rabiot for on-pitch mistakes earlier in the game, while the playing pair exchanged words after the late leveller from Mario Gavranovic.
