Paul Pogba 'adamant he will leave Manchester United this summer'

Paul Pogba reportedly remains adamant he will leave Manchester United this summer.

The Mirror say he is intent on departing following the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.

It is added that United have privately accepted it might be the best thing for Pogba to move on this summer, although they won’t let the 26-year-old go for anything under their £150m asking price for him.

That sounds like bad news for Juventus, who are reportedly plotting a £120m bid for United’s wantaway midfielder.

The Times say Juve are targeting Pogba as part of their strategy to cement their place as one of world football’s biggest clubs commercially.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly reiterated to Romelu Lukaku during showdown talks last week that Marcus Rashford will be United’s first-choice striker heading into next season.

The Sun say Lukaku is desperate to leave United, with Inter Milan his preferred destination.

However, the Nerazzurri are yet to reach an agreement with United over the player’s transfer and it is claimed that United have also offered the Belgium international to Juventus and Napoli for £75m.

The report adds that Cristiano Ronaldo would be in favour of a move for Lukaku, who has scored 42 goals in 96 games for the Reds.

Finally, Bruno Fernandes is reportedly calm about his future and believes a move to United will materialise.

That’s according to reports in Portugal, cited by Sport Witness, that say United and Spurs are both formulating a proposal for the midfielder.
