Paul Pierce revealed the gross story behind his NBA Finals wheelchair incident

There are endless conspiracies behind Paul Pierce’s apparent injury during Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals that led to him being rolled through the tunnel on a wheelchair.

Was Pierce actually hurt? Was he faking an injury? Was he just trying to boost his legacy with some overly dramatic comeback story?

Well, Pierce has apparently decided to come clean about the infamous wheelchair game 11 years later, and Pierce’s explanation was beyond gross.

During ESPN’s pregame coverage of Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Pierce said he had a confession to make about that wheelchair incident … He wasn’t hurt — he had a bathroom emergency.

Uh, gross.

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with Pierce pooping but we didn’t need to hear about it during an NBA Finals pregame show. I guess that’s why they call him The Truth — even if it takes 11 years.

Thankfully, Michelle Beadle changed the subject before the discussion truly went off the rails.
