Paul O'Grady's husband says 'bad news keeps coming on 'sad day'

Paul O'Grady's husband has shared that two of his pets have died on the same day.

The legendary entertainer, from Birkenhead, died suddenly on March 28, prompting a huge outpouring of love and tributes from across the country and beyond.

Prior to his death, Paul lived with his husband Andre Portasio on a farm in Kent. Their pets included alpacas, dogs, pigs, sheep, chickens and goats.

However, on Thursday, June 1, Andre shared on his Instagram some sad news. Posting a photo of Paul with their goats, Andre wrote: "Bad news that keeps on coming… a very sad day at our house."

"Paul O’Grady’s goats Maleficent and Beebo have both passed away today." Friends and fans of Andre and Paul offered their condolences.

Former TV presenter Melanie Sykes said: "Sending so much love xxxx." Amanda Holden commented a crying emoji.

Alan Carr said: "So sorry - awful just awful", while Angela Lonsdale added: "Awe no am so so sorry."
