Paul O'Grady devastated his fans with an announcement on his social media.
Posting on his Instagram he shared that his show, For The Love of Dogs, would not be airing as it had been replaced for the night.
The show was pulled for one night due to Simon Cowell's latest production, Walk The Line, which features Maya Jama as presenter, with judges Dawn French, Gary Barlow and Alesha Dixon, being aired on ITV instead.

He wrote to his 571,000 Instagram followers : "Sorry but there’s no #POGDOGS tonight, there’s some X Factor show on instead. Hopefully normal service will resume next week. Enjoy your day!"
Regular viewers of his show were devastated by the news as they took to the comments of his post.
Susan said: "I much prefer #POGDOGS" with some sad-faced emojis.
Elaine said: "So disappointed!"
Netcatta said: "I'd much rather watch your programme."
Gail said: "Would rather watch you Paul. I don't understand Why you haven't been put on the Honours list.. you should. Xx"
Paul's show follows him as he visits with the staff and dogs at the renowned Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, one of the UK's best-loved charities for more than 150 years.
He meets dogs in need of a bit of TLC and ultimately helps them to find new homes.
The TV presenter is the proud owner of three rescue dogs himself and has an excellent bond with all animals.
