Arsenal legend Paul Merson has admitted that defeat for the Gunners at Leicester City this weekend could leave the writing on the wall for Unai Emery in North London.
The Gunners fell six points behind the Foxes and Chelsea after a 1-1 draw with Wolves last time out, which was followed by another drab performance in the Europa League against Vitoria.
Emery now sees his side at risk of falling nine points adrift of their top-four rivals if they lose at the King Power Stadium, which is highly possible considering Arsenal have lost in this fixture in each of the last two seasons.
With the fans already turning on the Spanish boss, Merson believes that he could be at risk of losing his job during the upcoming international break if another poor performance occurs on Saturday.
"You look at it and if they change it (manager) they would have two weeks to look for a new one," Merson told Sky Sports.
"If Leicester City win this game they would be nine points clear of Arsenal and that's big even at this stage of the season.

"It's a big game for him. I think he is under pressure. The crowd are starting to get on his back. At the end of the day, the fans are the people who get you the sack.
"We saw it with Arsene Wenger and they are not happy at the moment.
"It's a massive football game for Arsenal this weekend."
