Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways against Brentford this afternoon.
Postponements and cup fixtures have somewhat distorted the Red's recent form but that won't stop Jurgen Klopp wanting to get his side back on track against the Bees today, and a few former players have had their say on how they think it's going to play out.
Sky's Paul Merson also believes Liverpool will keep Brentford out today and has predicted the Reds to win 3-0 and believes the trip to Anfield could be a 'wake-up call' for Thomas Frank's men.

Meanwhile former Red Michael Owen thinks Liverpool will 'take a while to get going' but, like Lawrenson, believes Klopp's men will have enough quality to take the three points, even without Mane and Salah, and has tipped Liverpool to win 2-0.
Speaking to BetVictor, Owen said: “It will be interesting to see how this Liverpool side can cope with the absences of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. Obviously, people will need to step up and the likes of Jota and Firmino will be expected to get the goals.
“I think Liverpool will take a while to get going here but should have enough quality, even without Salah and Mane. 2-0 to Liverpool”
Speaking to BBC Sport, former Liverpool player Mark Lawrenson believes the Reds will have 'enough' to beat Brentford and predicted the hosts to keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory.
"They should have enough to beat Brentford at Anfield.
"The Bees put on a very disciplined defensive performance when they lost 1-0 to Manchester City over Christmas, but they shipped four goals against Southampton on Tuesday, which is not exactly ideal preparation for this game." He said.
