Paul McGrath has paid a touching tribute to Jack Charlton following the Finding Jack documentary.
The programme received rave reviews after airing on Virgin Media 1 on Sunday night.
It documented the relationship between McGrath and the legendary Republic of Ireland manager and revealed how Big Jack still remembered who the former defender was even as he battled dementia.
Following the documentary, McGrath posted on Instagram: "Thanks so much for all the lovely comments after the Finding Jack Charlton documentary.
"The man I loved and the man who never stopped giving me chances..
"Fair play to Pat and all Jacks family. To the production company. Thank You, it was a pleasure to be part of it."
The post received thousands of likes and comments online.
Former footballer Alan Cawley posted: "The love and relationship you both had for each other was something to behold. Amazing."
Roz Purcell added: "It was so good!!! His stories with you were so sweet."

Documentary director Pete Thomas said about Charlton: “He was such a passionate person about so much, family, friends, football, Ireland, the north-east of England and the miners. He wanted to learn all the time. But his relationship with Paul McGrath was very close and he never seemed to forget who he was when asked about him.
“He looked out for him and kept Paul around him even when he wasn’t playing.
“He did so much for Paul that never got out into the public domain”
