Paul Mannion free to play for Dublin against Kildare in Sunday's Croke Park clash after red card rescinded

Dublin forward Paul Mannion will be free to play in Sunday's Croke Park clash with Kildare after having his recent red card overturned.

The Kilmacud Crokes ace was sent off in the 25th minute of the dominant quarter-final win over Louth after catching Conal McKeever with his shoulder.

And after Dublin appealed the call, the Central Hearings Committee ruled today that the alleged infraction of "behaving in a way which is dangerous to an opponent" couldn't be proven.

Dubs boss Jim Gavin was vocal about his displeasure with the decision after the game, and now will have Mannion available for the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final clash against the Lilywhites.

Meanwhile, Brendan Donaghy won't be available for Armagh's Ulster semi-final replay with Cavan after having his red card from the first game for an off the ball incident upheld.
