
PAUL Kelly will return to the Hunter with his band as part of a 24-city tour of the country.
The celebrated How to Make Gravy singer-songwriter announced the tour on Wednesday, including visits to Newcastle and Forster.
He will be joined on the On The Road Again tour in July and August by bandmates Peter Luscombe, Ash Naylor, Cameron Bruce, Bill McDonald and sisters Vika and Linda Bull.
The tour is scheduled to visit Caloundra, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns, Port Douglas, Meeniyan, Hobart, Warrnambool, Bendigo, Geelong, Ballarat, Merimbula, Thirroul, Bathurst, Newcastle, Forster, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Yamba.
He will play licenced all ages shows on his Hunter leg, including one at the Civic Theatre on August 8 and a Club Forster performance on Wednesday August 11.
Pre-sale tickets for both shows are available to Frontier Touring members from Tuesday May 18. General sales, via civictheatre.com.au for the Newcastle show, begin at noon on Thursday May 20.
Tickets are listed as $99.90 in Newcastle and $90 at Forster.
