Paul Ince caught giving Chris Sutton 'w*****' sign on live TV

Former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince was caught giving fellow pundit Chris Sutton the w***** sign on BT Sport on Saturday morning.

The pair were appearing on the Early Kick-Off show previewing the day of football ahead and Ince seemed unaware cameras were still rolling just before an ad break.

He was spotted giving the inappropriate hand gesture as he mocked Sutton, who appeared unimpressed and refused to even look at Ince.

Peter Crouch and Robbie Savage, also on the show, were left in hysterics as BT Sport apologised to viewers once they returned from the ad break if viewers had seen 'a certain rude gesture'.

The incident is not the first time BT Sport have issued an on-air apology for an offensive hand gesture, with Spurs legend David Ginola branding host Jake Humphry a "w*****" on the channel back in 2013.

His response came after Humphrey had mocked his choice of ripped jeans and trainers attire, making the gesture behind his back as he shared a laugh with Owen Hargreaves and Steve McManaman.

On that occasion, BT Sport tweeted an apology, stating: "BT Sport would like to apologise for any offence that was caused during this morning’s/Saturday’s broadcast. David Ginola apologised straight afterwards as he realised this was an inappropriate action."

Paul Ince recently accused Man Utd of copying Liverpool's model for success (Sunday Mirror)

Former United and Liverpool star Ince this week accused the Red Devils of copying Liverpool's model for success.

"I look at United and I feel like they’re almost copying a Liverpool model," Ince told Paddy Power.

"They got Virgil van Dijk in and United got Harry Maguire in, and it seems they’ve gone for three forwards too, pacey players like [Anthony] Martial, [Jesse] Lingard and [Marcus] Rashford – I don’t see where Lukaku fits into that – so I’m not surprised Ole let him go."
