Paul Hollywood’s ex-wife was left outraged to discover he took his girlfriend and her mum to the Great British Bake Off tent - just days before their 20-year marriage came to an official end.
Alexandra, 54, and 53-year-old Paul were granted a decree nisi at the Central Family Court in London on Friday, with the divorce proceedings lasting just 10 seconds.
Neither Paul nor Alex attended the hearing and the couple will have to wait another six weeks for a decree absolute to be granted.
According to reports in The Sun, the GBBO judge invited his barmaid girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, 24, and her mum Sabina to filming for Great British Bake Off at Welford Park in Berkshire a few days before his divorce came through.
The move has sparked a family feud between Paul and his estranged wife’s family, with claims that it has “ruffled a few feathers”.
According to a show insider, Paul has traditionally only invited his “nearest and dearest” to the set and that his family had grown close to the cast, crew and his co-judge Prue Leith.
The insider added: “In the week of being granted a divorce, Alex found it pretty insensitive.”
Paul met Summer, who is 30 years his junior, at his local pub in Ickham, Kent where she worked as a barmaid.
She quit her job at The Duke William pub shortly after her romance became public.
