Paul Hollywood has taken the plunge and moved in with his girlfriend after five months of dating after the couple made the decision to self-isolate together.
The 54-year-old Bake Off judge has been romancing 37-year-old pub landlady Melissa Spalding since late 2019 – with the pair confirming their romance last Christmas.
And now, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it seems the couple have taken the next step by cohabiting after government advice to couples urged those in love but living apart to make a decision on whether to live together or not amid the pandemic and “stick with it”.
And now the Sun on Sunday reports that the pair have opted to spend the coming weeks together as the nation continues to be on lockdown.

“Paul and Melissa have been friends for long enough to know they’d get on no matter what,” a source told the publication.
“Obviously, Melissa’s pub has closed, so it made sense for her to live with him,” the source continued.
“They are making the best of everything. They have enough space and are actually very happy,” the source added.

Paul and Melissa already lived close to each other.
The pair met as Melissa is the landlady of Paul’s local pub, The Chequers Inn, in Kent.
A spokesperson for the pair confirmed they had become an item last December.

“They are very happily together,” a spokesperson for the Bake Off star told the Mail on Sunday at the end of last year.
Paul was previously married to Alex Hollywood between 1998 and 2017.
He enjoyed a high profile romance with 24-year-old barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam, which came to a crashing end last year following a public argument between Summer and Paul's ex-wife, Alex.
