Paul Hollywood and ex-wife 'cut ties in business' three years after split

Paul Hollywood and his ex-wife Alex Hollywood have finally cut their business ties three years after announcing their split, it has been reported.

The 54-year-old Great British Bake Off star and Alex Hollywood, 56, announced their break-up in 2017.

It comes after Alex, who had been married to Paul for 20 years, claimed earlier this year that she had played a pivotal role in her ex partner's ascent to fame.

According to The Sun, Paul - who is worth an estimated £10million - has now quit his role at AKH Media Publications Ltd and Alex resigned as director of Paul Hollywood Limited.

Alex, who shares a son with the Bake Off star, is alleged to have walked away from a company that boasts investments of £2.5million.

Although the documents don't reveal how much Alex was making from her stake in the company, an accountant claimed to the publication that she may have been earning a hefty wage.

"On that level of income, you would be talking a five-figure dividend for both parties on which they’ll also be liable for separate Income Tax payments," the accountant explained to The Sun.

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Paul and Alex for comment.

Earlie this year, Paul's ex Alex said that it was finally her time to shine after helping the GBBO star rise to fame.

"Through hard graft from both of us, he got to the point where he was so big with Bake Off and now it's my time to shine," she told OK.

"I'm not saying I don't wish him well, I really hope that he will find happiness."
