Paul Heckingbottom says he's a 'little bit in love' with Hibs players after Celtic draw

Paul Heckingbottom couldn't hide his admiration for his Hibs heroes as they held Celtic at Easter Road to extend their stunning run.

It was another fine result for Heckingbottom who replaced Neil Lennon at Hibs in February and who has yet to lose in nine league games.

Keeper Ofir Marciano made several key saves during an open game but it was far from one-sided.

And Heckingbottom said: "In all honesty, I'm disappointed that we didn't win because you are greedy but really pleased with long parts of the game which is what we are about and how we want to play.

"So delighted for the players, proud of them."

He added: "There were spells where we really displayed what we want to be about going forward.

"Credit to them, I asked the players to do a few more different things today. At the minute, I'm a little bit in love with them and what they're doing.

"They are performing really well, giving everything. That's all the fans want."
