Paul Heckingbottom lets rip at Kevin Clancy over Celtic star Olivier Ntcham's 'mockery'

Incensed Paul Heckingbottom has blasted Kevin Clancy for failing to send Olivier Ntçham off in Hibs' 1-1 draw with Celtic.

The Easter Road boss, who was given his own marching off for kicking the fourth official with a water bottle, reckons the Frenchman should have received the same fate for his clash with Josh Vela.

Ntcham caught Vela around his face after lashing out just before the half-time whistle in the stormy Premiership clash.

And Hibs boss Heckingbottom has spoken of his shock after the man in the middle failed to show the Celtic star a red card.

He said: "You watched it - 100 per cent.

"That's probably the most frustrating thing of the whole day.

"You can accept poor decisions, you can accept referees having bad, bad games but that's happened straight in front of his face.

"We deserved it, the fans deserved, the club deserved it - we were out there fighting for everything and it feels like you're taking on extra players.

"It's not good enough, we're not happy about it, no one at our club is happy about it and for me it's just made a mockery of that game.

"We can take the pluses from it but it's a game that shouldn't have been like that, we've been let down."
