Paul Heckingbottom earns unfortunate nickname after Hibs' derby defeat to Hearts

Hibs boss Paul Heckingbottom has earned an unfortunate new nickname after a damaging derby defeat to Hearts .

The Tynecastle side leapfrogged their city rivals in the table to 8th position after picking up a crucial three points in the first Edinburgh derby of the season.

Heckingbottom's men now lie in 11th place with St Johnstone the only team to trail them in the standings.

And the Englishman has been branded as 'Paul Secondbottom' with the pressure mounting after his side's defeat.

Hibs took the lead against the Jambos after Stevie Mallan scored a magnificent goal from long range but were unable to see out the game.

Craig Levein 's side battled back in the last 20 minutes to secure all three points. Uche Ikpeazu equalised, before 17-year-old Aaron Hickey netted a deflected effort from distance to make it 2-1 with 5 minutes to go.

Ann Budge backed under-fire boss Levein in the build up to the game and the victory will certainly have eased some pressure on the Hearts boss.

Heckingbottom's job, meanwhile, is seriously on the line after a dreadful start to the campaign.
