Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott announce Manchester date in UK tour

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott will perform at Manchester's AO Arena as part of a 12-date UK tour. The tour will also include a special guest appearance by Billy Braff.

The duo are labelling the tour as some of their biggest ever shows and tickets will go on sale on Thursday 1 September at 9.30am. Tickets will be priced at £30 for every date including Manchester and will be on sale here.

The Beautiful South duo are known for a host of 1990s hits include 'Rotterdam', 'Don't Marry Her' and 'Perfect 10' and have joined together for a tour that covers Wales and much of the UK late in 2022.

The tour kicks off in November at Swansea, followed by Llandudno and Blackpool dates. It then visits Bridlington, Glasgow, Stockton, Portsmouth, Nottingham, Birmingham and Sheffield before a date in Manchester's AO Arena on December 10. The final date of the tour will be at London's O2 on December 17.

Heaton, who came to fame in The Housemartins and later formed The Beautiful South where Abbott was the lead singer for a number of their hits, have planned the tour to celebrate the launch of their new album 'N.K-Pop' that will be released on 7 October. The duo have already released two songs from the upcoming album including ballad ‘Still’ and the gospel pop song ‘Too Much For One (Not Enough For Two).
