Paul George to be game-time decision Tuesday vs. Timberwolves

Thunder forward Paul George will be a game-time decision Tuesday night on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves, head coach Billy Donovan said at shootaround.

George has missed the past three games for the Thunder due to a sore right shoulder. Donovan said on Tuesday that George did more during shootaround but will wait to see how he responds closer to the start of the game.

The Thunder begin a four-game road trip Tuesday night in Minnesota as the team also has upcoming games against the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz.

Donovan has said previously that George suffered the injury last week against the Denver Nuggets but hasn’t revealed too many details on the severity of the issue.

Oklahoma City has posted a 1-2 record without George in the lineup as the offense has struggled during that span. The team has twice started Dennis Schroder in his place and Markieff Morris once.

The Thunder are two-point underdogs against the Timberwolves.
