Paul George is a game-time decision Friday night vs. the Nuggets

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George is a game-time decision to play Friday night against the Denver Nuggets, according to head coach Billy Donovan.

The team had originally listed George as questionable to play on Friday with left shoulder soreness. George said on March 13 that he suffered a hit to that shoulder and it sounds as though he recently took another shot to that area.

George was seen in his postgame media availability on Wednesday following a 107-99 win over the Indiana Pacers with his left shoulder wrapped in an ice pack.

Paul George took a hit to his shoulder getting over a screen in the Indiana game. Billy Donovan didn’t know the specific play and isn’t sure if it was the hard hit PG took on a Domantas Sabonis screen.

The Thunder held a shootaround on Friday morning but Donovan did not address George’s status against the Nuggets. Instead, Donovan opted to wait until closer to tip-off.

George previously missed three games due to his right shoulder injury.
