Paul Gascoigne spoke openly about his sobriety as he made an appearance on Monday's Good Morning Britain.
The 54-year-old star was invited into the ITV studio to speak to hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley about the death of Jimmy Greaves.
Jimmy passed away on Sunday at the age of 81, and was known for battling alcoholism like Gazza.
Asked how he was doing these days, Gazza told Richard and Susanna: "I just try and take each day as it comes and don't beat myself up, there's enough people to do that for us."
"I've said this to you before, but a huge congratulations on beating your demons," Richard told him.

"You look well, you really look well," mother-of-three Susanna added, as he gave her a wink.
As the pair commented on him being becoming a grandad, he said: "Yeah lovely little kid. I'll have to get more Botox.
"Things are just looking good, like I said, I just try and take each day as it comes," he added.
GMB viewers were certainly impressed with Gazza's appearance, and took to Twitter to comment.

"Brilliant to see Gazza looking well #GMB," one posted, while another tweeted: "Gazza looking and sounding good #gmb."
A third added: "Gazza is looking well! Looks like he’s been at the Botox but he’s looking good #gmb."
A fourth tweeted: "So nice to see gazza looking healthy on #GMB," and a fifth said: "Gazza what a complete legend so pleased to see him looking so well. #GMB."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
