Paul Gascoigne sends ominous warning to Inter Milan ahead of Tottenham Legends match

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will open its doors for the second time on Saturday evening with Spurs Legends taking on Inter Milan in the second test event.

The 62,062-seater stadium is now ready for business but the club need to hold two test events in order to obtain the relevant safety certificates ahead of next Wednesday's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

The first event saw the club's U18 side defeat Southampton 3-1 in front of a crowd of just under 30,000 fans, with around 45,000 expected on Saturday to watch Jurgen Klinsmann and Co face the Nerazzurri.

Rafael van der Vaart, Dimitar Berbatov and Allan Nielsen are just some of the former Spurs players who will take part in the game, while the Italian side will have the likes of Javier Zanetti, Juan Sebastian Veron and Benito Carbone taking to the pitch.

While it has yet to be officially confirmed by the club, it appears that Paul Gascoigne will also feature in the match for the Lilywhites.

The former midfielder has been inundated with messages on Twitter recently and Gary Mabbutt, who will be taking charge of Spurs for the game, has said his former teammate will play providing that he is fit.

Gazza has posted a number of updates on social media over the past week ahead of the Tottenham Legends match, including a video of him going for a jog on Wednesday morning.

Well, he was back at it later in the evening as he let Spurs fans know how his game of football went as he sent a warning to Inter.

The former Spurs star is set to get an incredible reception from supporters if he does indeed take part in the game and the roof will probably come off if he does manage to find the back of the net.

Expect to see a few more updates from him over the coming days ahead of Saturday's game.
