Spurs fans are desperate for Paul Gascoigne to feature in the upcoming Tottenham Legends match against Inter Milan at the club's new home.
Set to play Bayern Munich at the start of September as one of the two test events needed to obtain the required safety certificates, the game unfortunately had to be cancelled with ongoing delays on the 62,062-seater stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are now set to finally move back to N17 at the start of April with a home game against Crystal Palace.
However, Sunday's U18s game against Southampton and the Tottenham Legends match six days later will need to run smoothly with no problems for that to happen.
The club have already announced a number of former players that will take part in the game against the Nerazzuri, with Gary Mabbutt and assistant manager Clive Allen set to take charge of a team including the likes of Jurgen Klinsmann, Robbie Keane, Rafael van der Vaart and Dimitar Berbatov among many others.
Tottenham fans also want Gascoigne to be involved in the game and have since bombarded him with messages on Twitter.
Having issued an update on Wednesday claiming that he's definitely up for the game, the former England international posted another tweet on Friday morning that will go down extremely well with supporters.
He tweeted: "Hi everyone, the skipper Gary is getting hounded. He picked me to play from the start, I was the one who said keep it quiet. Things are going well plus to play for the Yids again. I will be emotional, I suppose it's not the first time I've put my skipper in the s***. I can't wait, from GAZZA8 x."
