Paul Gascoigne has become a grandad for the first time - just before he heads into the Italian version of I'm A Celebrity.
The footballer's adopted son Mason, 31, has welcomed a baby boy with his partner Jaimee Wyatt during his stint in the Italian version of I'm A Celebrity.
A source told The Sun : "Paul’s been very excited about the thought of becoming a grandad and this news has come at just the right time for him.
"He’s in a good place and is looking forward to getting on with his other campmates. Becoming a grandad will be a really proud moment for him. It’s terrific news. Everyone is really pleased.
"All England fans will hope the tot turns out as good a player as his grandad!"
The baby was born on Friday weighing 8lbs 9oz.
Gazza is a star in Italy thanks to his time paying for Rome side Lazio in the 1990s.
While the show hasn't started yet, he's currently in Honduras, ready for the launch tomorrow night.
And he could be away from his new grandson for as long as two months if he proves a success on the show.
The show is being filmed on L’Isola dei Famosi - aka Island of the Famous - in Central America.
The star, who has been open about his battles with alcohol addiction had to pass mental and physical wellbeing tests to get the all-clear to take part in the show.
He's one of 15 celebrities who've signed up, and he'll soon be moving into camp with models, actresses and comedians.
In an interview filmed for the programme, he admits he's scared of snakes but says he's funny and charming, and he's also hoping to win over his campmates with his fishing skills.
Gazza is the adopted dad of both Mason and his sister, model Bianca, his ex-wife Sheryl's children from her first marriage.
The former couple also welcomed son Regan together.
