Paul Gannon
While most members of the UK Tech Rich List are founders or CEOs, Paul Gannon has made his way onto the list after 25 years in senior sales roles at Kainos, allowing him to become one of its largest shareholders.
Gannon joined Kainos from Fujitsu - a major Kainos client and shareholder at the time - in 1998, initially as senior vice president for business development, and joined its board in 2006.
In his time at the Northern Irish software business, he built up a large shareholding, benefiting as Kainos’ valuation crossed the £1 billion threshold in 2020. He currently holds a 5.8% stake in the company.
Gannon left Kainos earlier this year to focus on his investments.
