Paul Gallagher, Brother Of Oasis’ Liam & Noel, Charged With String Of Sexual Assaults

The older brother of Oasis stars Liam and Noel Gallagher has been charged with a series of sexual assault offences, including rape.

Paul Gallagher, 59, has been charged with rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm as per a statement by London’s Metropolitan Police.

According to The Times UK, an investigation into the DJ and photographer began last year following alleged offences which took place in 2022 and 2024.

“A woman is being supported by specially trained officers,” the Metropolitan police confirmed.

The charges against the eldest Gallagher brother came a month after Oasis began their worldwide reunion tour in Cardiff. The “Champagne Supernova” singers will be in Australia to perform sold-out shows in October and November this year.

Paul Gallagher has never been involved with Oasis. However, in 1997, he released a book called Brothers: From Childhood to Oasis, where he described what it was like growing up with Liam and Noel, who are infamous for their frequent disagreements.

Paul Gallagher is due to appear at Westminster magistrates’ court on August 27.
