Paul Chuckle has shared a photo of himself and his late brother Barry on the second anniversary of his death.

The ChuckleVision star paid tribute to his sibling – who died in 2018 after being diagnosed with bone cancer – on Twitter on Wednesday (5 August).

“Can’t believe it’s been two years already, 5 August 2018, miss you Baz,” he wrote, adding a broken-heart emoji.

Barry, who died aged 73, had kept his illness quiet from many, including Paul and his manager. “He wanted to work up until the end and he did it,” Paul told The Mirror in 2018. “I just miss those laughs we had on stage I can’t fathom that we’ll never have that laugh together anymore.”

Following Paul’s recent tribute, Love Island narrator Iain Stirling and Only Fools and Horses star John Challis were among those to remember Barry.

“You two were such an inspiration to me when I started at CBBC and still are today,” said Stirling. Thoughts with you and your family today x’.

“Thinking of you today,” added Challis.

The brothers starred in BBC show ChuckleVision between 1987 and 2009.

Their slapstick humour positioned them as family favourites who were best known for their catchphrase “To me, to you”.

The pair also collaborated with Tinchy Stryder on charity single “To Me, To You (Bruv)” which was released in aid of the African-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust in 2014.
