Patsy Palmer urges fans to 'stop fighting' as she explains why she walked off GMB

Patsy Palmer has urged calm among her fans, telling them to quit bickering over her recent Good Morning Britain appearance.

The former EastEnders star, who first appeared on the soap as Bianca Jackson in 1993, announced she was "doing a Piers Morgan" during Wednesday's show and hung up on Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd.

Patsy had taken issue with the tagline used to describe her, "Addict to Wellness Guru", when she believed she was lined up for the show to discuss her latest business venture.

She's since expressed exasperation at being asked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as well.

Susanna and Ben tried to apologise before she closed her laptop.

Now she's taken the time to address infighting among her followers on social media, and told that she does not describe herself, in her 2007 book All of Me, as "addict to wellness guru."

Patsy wrote: "Everyone stop arguing on here I can clear up your arguments.

"You have five mins to talk about exactly what they promise to talk about. If you have to start explaining yourself about something that shouldn't be on there in the first place the interview is over! That's one point cleared up.

"Second there's no quote in any book that ever said 'addict to wellness guru' anywhere ever - that's that point cleared up.

"Third I wasn't on there to promote a book about anything. As human beings that are supposed to thrive and improve we should never be defined by our past not even by ourselves let alone anyone else.

"Fourth don't fight each other, find each other and stand together to stop this from happening again and again. If you are fighting each other you are totally missing the point here."

After cutting off the interview, Patsy wrote to followers to explain her decision.

"My apologies to anyone that wants to hear good news as I have great faith that considering what is going on in the world right now there are some people that do," Patsy began.

"I keep seeing people saying 'Get over yourself', I have gotten over my old self years ago and no longer wish to discuss it when I only have 5 minutes of air time."

She went on to say that she's worked tirelessly "to remove negativity" from hers and her children's lives, and told trolls to take a look in the mirror.

Patsy also took the time to thank those who sent supportive messages and kind words her way.
