Patsy Palmer sends love to Dr Dre as he's hospitalised with brain aneurysm

Ex-EastEnders star Patsy Palmer has sent her love and well wishes to rapper Dr Dre after he was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.

Dr Dre is being treated at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday.

The 55-year-old music mogul was rushed to hospital last night by ambulance and was taken in to intensive care, where he is being treated.

Dre has been inundated with love and get well messages from fans - among them, none other than Patsy Palmer.

Taking to her Instagram, the former soap star posted a snap of herself with the famed rapper as she gushed over him.

The former BBC star wrote alongside the picture: “Sending a big get well to @drdre.

“One of my music idols. Such a gentleman when I met him, no up your own arse ego!!

“Amazing artist & producer.”

It’s unclear where the pair struck up their unlikely friendship but Patsy has surrounded herself with American A-Listers since moving to the US and leaving her soap days behind her.

Dre has addressed his fans directly with an update posted on Instagram after the news of his illness broke.

He paid thanks to the medical team at the hospital and to all those that had sent him goodwill messages since it was revealed that he was in hospital.
