Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid were left stunned after former EasteEnders actress Patsy Palmer 'did a Piers Morgan' and quit her interview with the Good Morning Britain hosts just minutes after it started.
Patsy was streaming live to the show at around 8am this morning, March 17, from her home in Malibu and was greeted warmly by Ben and Susanna before she noticed the on-screen caption.
The video above shows the moment Patsy said she was "going to switch off, do a real Piers Morgan" after saying it was not okay for the show to use "Addict to Wellness Guru" as the on-screen caption to her interview.
As she went to close her laptop, Ben and Susanna desperately tried to keep Patsy on by apologising to her as the GMB gallery scrambled to get the caption off-screen.
Ben continued to apologise to Patsy, to which she said: "Thank you, but I really don't want to talk to you right now", before she shut the screen on her laptop.
Blown away by how quickly the interview went south, Ben turned to the camera to again apologise, claiming it was a quote from Patsy's book before Susanna claimed she had no idea that caption was even on screen.
Soon after, Patsy began to trend on Twitter, with viewers in as much shock as the presenters.
One person Tweeted: "Patsy Palmer aka Bianca on EastEnders standing her ground for something she wasn’t happy with and cut off the interview (fair play) providing the duff duffs for #gmb "
Another added: "WOW. Patsy Palmer just done a Piers Morgan on GMB @GMB ", with a third Tweeting: " @patsypalmerx calling out #GMB and ending her interview after a minute."
Others said: "Aw @benshephard genuinely looks upset after that with #PatsyPalmer #GMB @GMB " and "Wow! Patsy Palmer wasn't taking any prisoners this morning. #GMB "
