An honorary mention to Patsy Kensit for services to women’s history this week, who, in an interview in Stylist magazine, performed the sisterly act of praising Kate Middleton for occasionally wearing the same outfit more than once. “I know it’s a shallow thing to say, but I think it’s done so much for women. I’m not going to be forced to look different every time I go out,” she said, adding, with nefarious comic flourish: “She’s like our generation’s suffragette.”
