Former Celtic striker Patryk Klimala has issued a classy thank you to the club and their supporters after he joined New York Red Bulls.
The 22-year-old struggled to make the grade after making a £3.5m move from Jagiellonia Białystok in January 2020.
He did turn heads with his work ethic during limited opportunities but could never convince he was the long-term answer for the former Premiership champions.
Celtic have recouped their cash after his move to Major League Soccer and Klimala has nothing but nice things to say about his time in Glasgow.
Posting on Twitter, he said: "As you probably already know, my time in Celtic is over.
"The time I spent here, however short, was a gift from God to me. I would like to thank everyone who has given me the chance to be apart of this great club.
"I will never forget a warm welcome and the support the fans gave me during the year spent here.
"In Celtic I was lucky to meet really good players, coaches and people who mobilized me to work harder every day.

"The progress I have made here allows me to be optimistic about the future.
"Now it's time for the United States, I'm pretty excited about it.
"Thank you for all the message and calls. Hope Celtic gets the title back as soon as possible.
"I keep my fingers crossed for you!"
