You may have already seen the outrage on social media over the past few days, but it’s true, Bacardi really is discontinuing its popular Patrón XO Cafe tipple.
It’s not yet been confirmed as to when the bev is disappearing from supermarket shelves, but it’s probably best to stock up on your favourite tipple before it’s gone for good.
With many people panic buying the 70cl £30 bottle, it seems the coffee favourite has already sold out online at Amazon, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Costco.
But, after scouring the internet for the precious liqueur, it seems there's still stock available on the Tesco website - but we have a feeling it won’t be on there much longer.
The drink blends Patrón tequila and Arabica coffee and is often popular over iced, chilled in a shot or mixed into a cocktail.
Hundreds of Cafe Patrón fans have taken to Twitter to share their frustration, with one disappointed fan saying: “I’m not being dramatic when I say this is the worst day of my life.”
A second said: “This is just awful news @BACARDI what on earth are you thinking?!?!”
With a third fan adding: “Na my day is ruined how can they discontinue the Patron XO Cafe”
