The New England Patriots worked out Southern Oregon wide receiver Jordan Suell on Monday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire.
Suell, at 6-foot-6, 205 pounds, also worked out with the Indianapolis Colts last week. In his final college season in 2019, he had 42 receptions for 834 yards and 12 touchdowns.
In 2020, Suell played for the Generals in The Spring League. He logged a touchdown and over 100 yards in a win in the title game.
The Patriots’ wide receiver group includes Julian Edelman, Jakobi Meyers, N’Keal Harry and Gunner Olszewski. Receivers Devin Smith, Kristian Wilkerson and Isaiah Zuber are also returning on futures contracts. Damiere Byrd and Donte Moncrief are set to enter free agency.
