The New England Patriots (2-0) will head into Week 3 with a home matchup against the New York Jets (0-2).
New England will face another battered and injury-riddled AFC East opponent in back-to-back games. The Patriots dominated the Miami Dolphins in a 43-0 rout during Week 3, and the Jets will likely have similar results.
The Jets will be without their starting quarterback Sam Darnold due to mono, and they are missing numerous starters, including C.J. Mosley and Quinnen Williams. Their backup quarterback Trevor Siemian will be out for the season with an ankle injury, and they are down to Luke Falk — who has played in one NFL game so far. It will be a tough outing against a Patriots team that has been playing lights out.
