The New England Patriots went to one of their favorite trick plays for their first touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium in Week 14.
Yup, it was a flea flicker.
On a first-and-10 from the 37-yard line, Tom Brady handed off the ball to running back James White, who headed upfield. He then turned to toss the back to Brady, who grabbed a pitch from White. Meanwhile, receiver Julian Edelman was streaking wide open downfield. Brady found him, and zipped a ball downfield to Edelman. All he had to do was grab the ball and fall backward into the end zone.
